Broderie / embroidery

J'effectue actuellement un travail préparatoire pour la production d'un livre d'artiste sur le thème des humeurs. Ce livre sera produit lors d'un atelier donné par moi-même et Hugo de Faucompret le mois prochain pendant 10 jours. La broderie symbolise l'attente et l'importance du mouvement répétitif est vu comme une source de méditation. Le support papier a été teint au café et travaillé à la main. Le motif tramé deviens aléatoire au fur et à mesure de sa progression. Le tout provoque un résultat organique et fait appel à l'imaginaire de chacun. 
Une série de quatre broderie est prévue. Voici la première.

I work actually on a preliminary study in the production of an artist book about moods. This book will be printed during a workshop supervised by Hugo de Faucompret and I, next month, for 10 days.
Embroidery represente the waiting and the importance of repetitive movement is like a source of meditation. The paper is tinged by coffee and hand-made. The contrived motive become random as one goes along. The result is organic and appeals to the imagination of each. 
A series of four is planned. Here is the first one.
