Art Loop

Il y a deux ans, j'avais déjà eu la chance de travailler avec Art Loop sur le projet La couleur du vent, (Éditions de l’atelier de reliure Cécile Côté, Montréal, 2011). Voici la vidéo que Yasser Fadili avait fait sur mon travail.

La Couleur du vent est un projet réalisé sous la direction de Cécile Côté, à l'atelier Cécile Côté, à Montréal, en 2011.

Two years ago, I had a chance to collaborate  with Art Loop on a project called La Couleur du vent (Wind's color) Éditions de l’atelier de reliure Cécile Côté, Montréal, 2011. Here is the Yasser Fadili's video about my work.

Art Loop

Ma semaine intense de travail s'est finie hier avec Art Loop. J'en profite donc pour vous parler un peu de ce magnifique projet. 
Noémie Letu, photographe, et Yasser Fadili, vidéaste, créent ensemble la première chaîne créative itinérante. Ils sont partis de Montréal pour aller en Islande, en Italie, en Espagne, en République Tchèque, mais aussi en Allemagne, en Lituanie, en Turquie, en Israël ! 
Le principe est le suivant : Ils ont donné un thème à un premier artiste qui a eu une semaine pour créer une œuvre. Noémie et Yasser apportent alors ce travail dans un autre pays à un artiste qui ignore le thème et qui a uniquement pour point de départ l’œuvre du précédent. Pour résumer, ils s'agit d'un immense téléphone arabe artistique à l'échelle mondiale.
J'ai eu l'immense chance de participer à cette chaîne. Je suis la 11ème artiste depuis le début de l'aventure, et j'ai dû travailler à partir d'un film d'animation fait par Dafna Ben Ami, à Jérusalem. J'ai eu une semaine pour produire un livre d'artiste qui sera ensuite transmis à un autre artiste, dans un autre pays. J'ai eu le plaisir de partager toute la semaine mon quotidien avec Yasser et Noémie qui ont documenté mon  travail en photo et en vidéo.

My intensive working week with Art Loop ended yesterday. So I take the time to explain that amazing project. Noémie Letu, photographer, and Yasser Fadili, video director, create together the first itinerant creative chain. They left from Montréal to go in Iceland, in Italy, in Spain, in Czech Republic, but also in Germany, in Lithuania, in Turkey, in Israel ! The point is : They give a theme at a first artiste who have one week to create an artwork. Noémie and Yasser bring it in an other country, to an other artist who ignore the theme and just have, as a reference, the last artwork . To conclude, it's like a kind of big chinese wisper around the world.
I have the great chance to participate at this chain. I'm the 11th artist since the aventure began. I had to work from a cartoon movie of Dafna Ben Ami, from Jerusalem. I had one week to make an artist book which will be brought to an other artist in an other country. I had the chance to share my days with Yasser and Noémie who took photos dans videos about my work.
